Emami Art is presents the simultaneous opening of two major exhibitions on October 14, 2023: The Lost Fragrance of Memory and IMAGINARIUM 3.0.
1. The Lost Fragrance of Memory

The Lost Fragrance of Memory is the first solo exhibition of Suman Dey, a self-taught artist and one of the few prominent painters working in the language of abstraction today. It showcases his recent paintings, which reveal his unique spatial imagination, a mellowed world of lines, shapes and colours enmeshed with dreams and memory traces. In this show, the powerful large-scale canvases, for which he is better known, show how he poured his personal experience and solitary studies into a highly individual language.

At the same time, IMAGINARIUM 3.0, the third edition of Emami Art All India Open Call Exhibition, features powerful artworks by ten selected young artists that visualize the different concerns related to our present-day global contexts and issues in a wide range of media. The participating artists are Ushnish Mukhopadhyay, Aritra Majumder, Richa Arya, Ahalya Rajendran, Ali Nakbhi, Deepak Kumar, Saroj Kumar Badatya, Sheshadev Sagria, Sumon Mondal and Swapna Halder. We welcome you to the exhibition and Award Ceremony organized as part of it.
